Cobblemon Official Modpack on a server
How much RAM does a Cobblemon server need?
The Cobblemon Official Modpack is the Cobblemon mod plus the quality-of-life mods its team recommends, and it stays close to a vanilla server in weight. 4 GB (Stone) runs a friend group comfortably; step up to 6 GB (Iron) if you add heavier mods or a dozen trainers show up at once. Pokémon spawning is the load, not world generation, so it scales with how busy your world is rather than how far people explore. The order picker highlights a safe plan for the pack automatically.
On HostGoblin that starts at $13.99/mo with the Stone plan (4 GB RAM) — and resizing later keeps your world.

Cobblemon Official Modpack hosting FAQ
Do my friends need the pack installed?
Yes — everyone joins with the Cobblemon Official Modpack on their own Minecraft, on the same version as the server. The free Modrinth App or the CurseForge app installs it in a couple of clicks (Prism and ATLauncher work too). Your dashboard's join link tells them exactly what to grab.
Which is right for us, the Official pack or COBBLEVERSE?
The Official pack is Cobblemon in vanilla-feeling Minecraft: build, explore, catch, battle. COBBLEVERSE turns it into a full Pokémon game with regions, gyms and raids on a bigger plan. Compare it at /minecraft-modpacks/cobbleverse — we host both, and the same server can switch later.
Can I add mods to the Official pack?
Yes — this is the pack people build on. Add Fabric mods for Minecraft 1.21.1 from the Add-ons tab, and tell your friends so their client matches the server.
Can Bedrock players join?
No — Cobblemon is a Java Edition mod. Bedrock, console and phone players can't connect to a modded Java server.
