COBBLEVERSE on a server
How much RAM does a COBBLEVERSE server need?
COBBLEVERSE is the biggest thing built on Cobblemon: 136 mods, every one of the 1,025 Pokémon with 93 Megas, Kanto, Johto, Hoenn and Sinnoh with gyms and animated leaders, Dynamax, Terastallization and Z-Moves, 200+ rideable Pokémon and one-to-seven-star raids. Two or three friends play happily on 4 GB (Stone); a group of up to about six wants 6 GB (Iron) so raids and busy routes stay smooth. Vanilla mobs and hunger are off by default, which keeps the tick budget for what the pack is actually about. The order picker reads the pack's minimum and highlights a safe plan.
On HostGoblin that starts at $13.99/mo with the Stone plan (4 GB RAM) — and resizing later keeps your world.
A smooth COBBLEVERSE server
COBBLEVERSE hosting FAQ
Do my friends need COBBLEVERSE installed?
Yes — everyone joins with the same pack on their own Minecraft. The free Modrinth App installs it in two clicks (the CurseForge app, Prism and ATLauncher work too). Match the version to the server's; the join link on your dashboard spells out exactly what to grab.
COBBLEVERSE or the Cobblemon Official Modpack?
COBBLEVERSE is the whole Pokémon game layered on Minecraft: regions, gyms, raids, every Pokémon. The Cobblemon Official Modpack is Cobblemon as its team ships it — closer to vanilla Minecraft, lighter, fine on a smaller plan. We host both; the Official pack has its own page at /minecraft-modpacks/cobblemon.
Can I add more mods or shaders?
Yes. Server-side mods install from the Add-ons tab and stay version-matched to 1.21.1. Shaders are client-side — the pack already bundles a shader pack your friends can switch on in their own video settings.
Can Bedrock or console players join?
No — COBBLEVERSE is a Java Edition modpack. Bedrock, console and phone editions can't load Java mods, so every player needs Minecraft: Java Edition with the pack installed.
