How much RAM does a Necesse server need?

Settlement includes 2 GB of RAM and is the right starting point for a typical vanilla group. Colony doubles that to 4 GB for larger, long-lived, or modded worlds.

How many players can join?

New servers default to 10 player slots. You can choose and later change the slot limit anywhere from 1 to 99 in your server settings.

Can I bring an existing world?

Yes. Upload the save through the dashboard file tools, then point the server at that save name. Keep a copy of the original before moving it.

Can I use Necesse mods?

Yes. Server-side mod files can be uploaded through the file tools. Players may need the same mods installed locally, depending on the mod.
